Kate has tackled going up stairs

Baby-proofing is about to be in full effect! Our little one has learned how to go UP the stairs. We're going to have teach her how to safely go down those steep steps of ours! This past weekend she showed us how she likes to stand up against furniture as often as possible, she likes to walk behind Kate-sized "push" toys/cars, AND now the stairs! Holy moly! We're in trouble!

Kate’s Birthday Week/Weekend…

Kate grandparents in TX came out to visit and celebrate her 1-year birthday with her. On Saturday, we had a birthday party for her where, of course, she got to try SUGAR (aka birthday cake). Needless to say that sugar high kept her up and running the whole afternoon and into the night (no afternoon nap necessary apparently)! Kate’s little friends were invited … in attendance were Noah, Brinlie, and the Thomas clan (Chloe, Max, and Jake).
