Last weekend, Mom's work had an event "Prairie Days with Palmer Land Trust" -- took place at an 87,000-acre ranch just south of Colorado Springs. There was bird banding, nature hikes, wagon rides, and arts-n-crafts. Kate had a great time! We couldn't resist putting her in a lil cowgirl hat and taking some pics! Enjoy!
March 27th: SNOW! We actually have not had hardly any snow this winter. Of course this would be the case, since Kate asked Santa for a sled and a snowsuit for Christmas. Finally we got to bust this stuff out. She's only used it maybe 3 times. Ugh.
We’ve been reading to Kate since she was a wee little baby, and she really loves her books!
Kate’s been practicing walking. Her friend, Brinlie, loaned her this lil lion which she loves pushing around the house!
Easter Weekend: Mom & Kate flew 'solo' to TX for a whirlwind trip to see the fam. Carolyn's brother would be moving ALL the way out to Maryland soon, so it was a good time to get the whole family together (not an easy thing with each sibling living in a different state and parents living in TX!).
Kate loves to be a big girl and hold the WHOLE apple and take *big girl* bites of the apple! Oh my.

My Mantie came to visit me and she has a big belly. I like to lift up her shirt and take a peek at where my cousin lives :) [Mandy's due in June with her first]
We had a little Valentine's weekend excursion over to Cripple Creek, CO to attend the Ice Festival. We attached some pics of the ice sculptures we saw.
What can I say, I think she's getting cuter by the minute! We have so much fun with her!
